Alexa’s Bat Mitzvah

Alexa and her friends put on the most incredible Bat Mitzvah this weekend and we had the honor of photographing it. It was a day full of family and fun for a “few” of Alexa’s friends and family! We were so excited just to be a part of her day and document this totally cool event! Here’s a few shots from the weekend:

I shoot lots of pictures. Shot a bunch of pictures this weekend. It’s actually easy to do when your subjects are amazingly cool. My camera was happy which in-turn makes my shutter finger jump for joy. Jeremy and Susan were married in Richmond on Saturday and my happy finger had the honor of pressing the shutter button many times. Here’s a few of the things that happened when I pressed the button. Pretty neat, eh?

Yesterday was Buzzy’s 83rd birthday. We were honored to be a part of her very special day. Buzzy spent her day surrounded by family, chocolate and daffodils…all her favorites! She is a horticulturist and daffodils have special meaning to her. Every year she always receives bunches of them. One year her husband gave her 50 dozen! Here are a couple of shots of Buzzy looking quite spry at 83. Happy Birthday Buzzy!
