After Dark Miami – Workshop

Last week we had the chore of going to Miami and shooting a few models in South Beach. Not a chore actually. We had a killer time with a few of our favorite photographers from around the nation as we gathered there for some shooting and seminars. When we weren’t shooting, we were teaching and mentoring. It is such an honor to be able to help others doing what we love to do! Although there were some long hours (as you can see from the images – sunrise to sunset) it’s so worth it. Just a few shots from the weekend – Enjoy!

A wedding on the shore of the Elizabeth river as the ships passed by was on tap last week for Rebecca & Brandon’s wedding day. A few of my fav’s from the day…..

We couldn’t do what we do without a lot of help from so many people but at the top of that list would be the folks at H&H Colorlab. They do the incredible job of printing all of our images in such cool and innovative ways! Having the comfort knowing that every image that I send to them is going to get printed perfectly and fast really allows me to focus on one thing – images that rock. We have met a few of the H&H team over the past year or so but we winged our way out to Kansas City to meet the rest of the crew and we were blown away by their sincerity, craftsmanship and friendliness. Honestly I expected to see giant machines belching steam and ink as someone mindlessly pulled levers to stomp out albums and prints. I was quite impressed when it was a guy named Mark that assembled my album….by hand (and he didn’t even belch). Two pretty girls color correcting images – one by one. Go figure. Thanks for allowing us to check out your fine facility and most importantly meet all of you! Here’s a few shots of H&H at work!

Blogging Bootcamp!

On August 12th we will be hosting a Seminar at our studio for wedding professionals! This will be presented by Liene Stevens of Blue Orchid Designs and The Smart Planner™ . You already know why you should blog. We’ll show you how!

Bootcamp, Liene will share specific strategies and techniques she has
